About the Role
In this full-time role at our Brand Store in Utrecht, you are responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of your store.
You train, motivate and inspire your team, while staying active on the shop floor yourself. On top of that, you spend time every week on administrative tasks such as scheduling and writing reports, and you analyze the numbers to identify opportunities for growth.

You are a confident team player who easily gets people on board and creates a strong team spirit.
Motivational speaker is your middle name: with your energy and enthusiasm you motivate your colleagues, keep the overview and make sure tasks are clearly divided. You are driven, hands-on and flexible, you think analytically and you spot commercial opportunities. You also work independently, you are open to new ideas and you inspire both customers and colleagues with your storytelling. You use reports and results to keep improving.
You also recognize yourself in the following:
- Management experience (in retail) is a plus, or you are a sales pro who is eager to develop into a manager
- You are available and willing to work weekends
- You have an excellent command of Dutch and English
- You have an affinity with fashion, styling and lifestyle
- You are commercially strong and get energy from numbers
- For you, taking responsibility is the key to success
- Communication is not a challenge for you – you easily get your team on the same page

Founded in 2013, Pig & Hen is an Amsterdam-based brand that designs and sells handmade jewelry. Our jewelry is sold in more than 50 countries, through our own online stores, a B2B network of authorized fashion and jewelry retailers, concept stores and department stores, and our own brand stores.
Pig & Hen Brand Stores
In March 2018, we opened our first brand store in the Nine Streets in Amsterdam. In 2023, we moved to a larger flagship store in the center of Amsterdam (Heiligeweg, corner of Kalverstraat), and in 2024 we opened brand stores in The Hague (Hoogstraat) and Utrecht (Steenweg). Last year, Maastricht (Muntstraat) and our first store abroad in London (64 Neal Street) followed. This year we reopened our store in the Nine Streets, so we now have two stores in our hometown Amsterdam and six brand stores in total. In the coming years, we will open many more stores, both in the Netherlands and abroad.
